Reef and Beef Restaurant in Arcadia

This is a great place for a romantic meal with your significant other, a great place for the family or even lg groups. This restaurant has a lot of history, nestled near the end of town. The food is amazing and the staff are quick on their toes. What's great is you can go right through a door and thers5is a full bar with live music at times and pool tables... great place to eat then go dancing. Great date night spot!

This is a great location for groups!!Our Sunday School group of 20+ came here and It was great!! Wonderful service, large facility that could have held twice our size. They offered a full menu, A large salad bar and a variety of tasty sounding dishes in addition to succulent desserts. We had the fried shrimp which was terrific!! Everyone seemed thrilled with their choices. We would definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I took an excursion into DeSoto County for lunch. Reef and Beef was our destination. Food good. Reasonable prices. But...many more to explore!

Very well organised and welcoming spot. They provide large portions and for inexpensive prices. I liked the meals a lot and the staff members were very amiable and chatty. I recommend this place.

Had a BIG hamburger steak, steak frys, & salad and it was delicious. Saw them deliver some BIG steaks to another table and they looked really good. I hope to go back when we pick up our dogs.

I have been here before. I had a very good dinner then. One of tonight's specials was coconut shrimp It was fabulous and they do not scrimp. There were 10 large shrimp on my plate. They were done perfectly and the taste was so good and the little potatoes that he must deep fry are unique. My other half had fried pork chops he loved them It's not a fancy place it's got a cowboy theme. If you are on tjis area stop in. You will be glad you did. Staff is super friendly .

I enjoyed the salmon dinner which was excellent. However, very disappointed with the 10oz sirloin steak. It was tough and chewy. The salad bar was very fresh and service was good. We may go back but will not order the steak, sorry.

Pretty simple menu, but done well. The foods always been good, and the staff are sweet. They have a good salad bar, and usually a small buffet set up.

The first time we went we had the buffet. Buffet was ok. Second time we went everyone ordered from the menu. Good food and excellent staff our waitress was incredible. Will go back just for the service.

Filthy dusty and dated decor with the most uncomfortable booth seats I have ever experienced. Service was OK. The steak was actually tender and prepared well. The seafood was absolutely disgusting. Obviously frozen for weeks if not longer. Shrimp was tainted and had an odd smell. Salad bar straight out of the late 70's including the brown and spoiling lettuce. Travelers beware. The is a local lump of coal. We were hoping to find a local gem.

I tried this spot before with a friend and I am addicted since then. I enjoy the excellent ambience and flavorful dishes and beverages. Keep up the good work.

Excellent service, the stuffed grouper and seared tuna were excellent, cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. The salad bar is well stocked with fresh vegetables. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Worth it.

We had the steak, scallops, stuffed grouper, shrimp cocktail, chicken wings and salad bar. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! The service was also the best we've had in a long time!

1st time...as you can see we came in in a good mood to enjoy our lunch from our picture...the food is very tasty and this place has a wide variety from escargot, french onion soup, buffalo wings, homey blt sandwiches, banging burgers and beer bater onion rings and what looks like a great buffet...our server though needs to learn to stage her orders... that an appetizer comes first then soup and salad... then meals... not one persons meal then an app and soup together then follwed immediately by another persons plate and then finally a couple minutes later the final plate...she never check on us and we had to flag her down 3 times because she was more interested in the regulars than treating everyone like valued customers equally... so we left with our food because it felt wierd ..again... it was good food though!!!

Decent steak. Decor was eh. Was a little put off that our server didn't know what steamers were also.

Stopped here for lunch while passing through. It's an older building but we decided to stop since their reviews were pretty good. We had the lunch buffet which was reasonably priced. The meat selection was baked or bbq chicken, breaded pork chops or meatballs. Vegetables were salad buffet, corn, or green beans. It was all very delicious and we left with happy tummies. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. The women's restroom was clean but my husband said the men's was kind of smelly. Other than that, we enjoyed our lunch.

The ladies treated us like we were family the dinner was fabulous 😊

One of my favorite places. Good salad bar. All you can eat lunch buffet, and they can cook a great ribeye steak.

The Reef as the locals call it is a old DeSoto County place that has been around for a good many years. It sources it's beef locally since you are in cow country. Not a fancy place, but generous portions and very happy to meet you staff. They have a bar in the same building, but is separate to keep a family atmosphere. One of a kind.

Great place to go very friendly staff food freshly cooked. Fantastic salad bar which is kept full and fresh I had the basa and fries. Which would recommend next time we go will take photos

Went for the first time today. Will be back! Dora our server was wonderful in every way. My father (98 years old) was treated like a king. I know he will want to be back and often! Oh the stuffed grouper gets extra stars! The shrimp & oysters were good too.

Nice and Clean also cozy 👌, the food is great and taste like ur parents home cooked meals, Seafood is the best food that they have there. Don't forget to try their buffet 😉 it's off the chain Very clean and discreet on rush hour traffic N the restaurant. N'joy ur home cooked meals.💃♿

I like this restaurant very much. there is a romantic atmosphere. The cuisine is superb. the service is dynamic and the team is professional. The price is decent. I warmly recommend.

Always fresh food the steak and shrimp is one of my favorites😊 and Dora the manager is the sweetest person she guess to every table to make sure every thing is all right with your order.

Reef and beef that's about right... You want a piece of cow on a plate? Well you can get it here along with a various selection of seafood TOO... They offer a lovely salad bar along with some old stale bread that sits in a warmer for long periods of time with your meal too! Not too bad of a place for a quick home cooked meal I get the beef and save the reef for on my own time 😉
